Morten Qvale - "Aces Mojave"
Morten Qvale, born September 25, 1957, in Drøbak, is a Norwegian fashion, advertising, and art photographer who has worked professionally since 1986 and is based in the Oslo area. Through his own gallery and large-scale projects, he has become a key figure in contemporary photography in Scandinavia.
Career start & development
- In 1983, he started Tique, Norway’s first international fashion magazine, where he learned technical and artistic photography by working with established photographers.
- He later transitioned to working as a photographer for international campaigns for brands such as Oscar de la Renta, Jordache, Adidas, H&M, and Reebok, as well as editorial assignments for Vanity Fair, Elle International, L’Officiel and many others.
- Among the celebrities he has photographed are Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, Anna Nicole Smith, Dita Von Teese, Donald Sutherland, and Calvin Klein.
Other work & aesthetics
- Qvale has also produced commercials for brands such as Adidas, Synsam, and Garnier, as well as music videos for artists like Tone Damli and Elisabeth Andreassen.
