Our hotel
Hotel Plaza has 202 rooms across twelve floors and a lobby that feels like a cozy living room. It’s a natural meeting place for business travelers, weekend guests, international visitors and locals from Västerås.
The entire hotel features high-speed Wi-Fi and a completely non-smoking environment. On the ground floor, you’ll find our fitness center Studio Plaza and the Plaza Bar, while the upper floors are home to The Gallery restaurant, Sky Spa and Skybar. A convenient parking garage is located just beneath the hotel.

Reception
Welcome to Västerås’ very own living room. Our reception is here to assist you with check-in, check-out and any practical questions you may have. If there’s anything else you need, please don’t hesitate to ask – we’re happy to help.
Studio Plaza is the hotel’s fitness center for strength, mobility and sustainable health. Choose Milon (digital training) if you prefer guided workouts, or train freely like in a classic gym. Whatever you prefer – you’re always welcome!
Plaza bar
Plaza Bar brings together guests and locals in a relaxed setting on the ground floor. Classic and modern drinks meet light bites and good conversation. A natural stop before or after your evening plans.
The Gallery is Plaza’s restaurant – a place that speaks to all the senses. The menu moves between familiar flavors and modern influences, always with seasonal ingredients in focus. Here, we serve everything from breakfast and lunch to brunch and dinner.
Sky Spa offers relaxation above the city rooftops. Here you’ll find saunas, a wide range of treatments and a peaceful relaxation area where the pace slows down. The panoramic view frames the experience and invites you to enjoy the moment.
On the 24th floor, you’ll find Skybar – the cocktail bar that brings a touch of Manhattan to Västerås. Here, first-class and perfectly crafted cocktails are served alongside handpicked wines, all with the best view in Västerås.
Directions & services
TRAIN – from the Central Station it’s only 150 meters to Hotel Plaza. There are good connections, including trains to and from Stockholm twice an hour during rush hours, making it especially convenient. The travel time between Stockholm and Västerås is under one hour.

FLIGHT – Västerås International Airport is located only five kilometers from Hotel Plaza.
AIRPORT BUS – from Hotel Plaza it’s also 150 meters to the airport bus terminal. Several departures daily to and from Arlanda. Travel time to Arlanda is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
PARKING – in the same building as the hotel, there is a heated parking garage.
BORROW A BIKE – From March to October, guests have the opportunity to borrow a bicycle free of charge. Ask at reception and they’ll be happy to help you.
ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING – We offer 8 charging spots for electric cars at our sister hotel, Hotel Esplanade. Price: 395 SEK / per night.
